A published textbook, plus notes and articles from the space where practical engineering meets research.
Making computing concepts accessible through structured learning.
I am the first author of Essentials of Computing, a technical textbook that gives students a foundation in computing — theoretical principles alongside practical application. It sets out to simplify complex topics into a structured learning experience for undergraduate and diploma students.
As first author I planned, structured, wrote, and reviewed the technical content, keeping the material accurate, practical, and aligned with academic learning objectives.
Across my career I have mentored students, junior engineers, and aspiring developers. Talking to learners, I kept meeting the same gap: they could recite the theory but could not connect it to practical computing.
This book exists to close that gap — computing fundamentals presented in a structured, readable, student-friendly way. It is one of the milestones in a longer effort to share technical knowledge beyond the software I ship.
Topics that bridge practical engineering and research.
